Version 0.1.1 imported and exported three synthetic products as Draft with zero sales channels. The exported handles, titles, SKUs, prices and vendor matched the tested fixture. This is one controlled trial-store test, not a customer success story or a guarantee for another store.

What was checked
All three source products remain in the output. SKUs 000104, 000105 and 000106 preserve their leading zeros. Prices retain values 24.00, 32.50 and 18.00. The mug title keeps its quoted comma. Handles, vendor and publication intent are preserved.
The command refuses CSV output for duplicate handles, a missing price, ambiguous quotes, unsupported image columns and invalid UTF-8. Existing reviewed output is protected from overwrite. The separate data-integrity suite has 35 passing tests.
What the Shopify test proves
The exact v0.1.1 engine output was imported into an empty owner-authorized trial store, then exported as plain CSV. All three products were Draft, Published=false, with zero sales channels. SKU leading zeros, prices, vendor, default options and unique handles survived. The verification file records exact engine, fixture and export hashes.
The original illustrative sample includes Published=TRUE values. Do not use it as a live-store test. The tested fixture uses unique handles, Published=FALSE and an explicit Status=draft column. Without Status, Shopify defaults to Active; visibility and product status are separate. The original illustrative sample itself was not imported. Existing-product updates, variants, inventory, images, larger catalogs and other stores remain untested.
